Hello everyone!
Recently, there have been some changes regarding the line-up of the board of our section. It’s a good opportunity to present our officials to you:
Roman Drecki – President
Roman is involved in ISHA pretty long and it’s his second term as the President. He took part in most big conferences (co)organised by ISHA Warsaw: “Russian Polish Entangled History” in Moscow,”Historical Education and Science in Central and Eastern Europe” in Lviv, “Polish-Russian Relations in the Past” in Warsaw, the conference in Teheran and some smaller events.
Magda Próchniak – Vice-President
Currently on exile in Erasmus, but still able to coordinate organizational stuff for the Summer Seminar in July, 2018. She has been the vital part of our section from its very beginning, taking part in many seminars and conferences.
Kuba Spiechowicz – Treasurer
Kuba joined our section last year. Impressively active from the very start, he helped in the organization of the Polish-Russian Conference that held in Warsaw. This year, he took on the responsible task of being our treasurer.
Kasia Wardzyńska, Paweł Kaczmarski – Secretaries
Both freshers in the board. Paweł was bold enough to partake in our Iranian adventure. When – along with other participants – he was starving in the desert, he promised himself that one day he would become an ISHA official. He succeeded the very next year. Kudos!
Kasia has just finished her first year, having nailed the most difficult and stressful exams in her course of studies. However, nstead of taking a gap year, she decided to engage in ISHA activities. We are really happy to have such an ambitious and open person in our team!
Of course, although our former board members decided to make place for new people, we still can count on their help.
